Pet of the Week: Bailey
Hey party people, I’m Bailey! Back in September, I arrived at HP from a shelter in Hazard, Kentucky. I traveled about 550 miles to get here! Since then, I’ve been at the shelter for 136 days (as of 1-24-23). I am more than ready for my fur-ever home to find me. I am a female Australian Shepherd mix, and just over one year old. Not to brag, but I’m hilarious! Between crawling on the ground to stretch my back legs out, and contorting with excitement when I have a toy, I will make you laugh. I also love to stay active! I was evaluated by a trainer who works with breeds like me, and she said I would be a great sports dog. That includes lure coursing, nose work, tracking, and more. If you’re not into sports, that’s okay! I would also be happy in just an active home. I LOVE to run and play, those are my favorite things to partake in. I am also outgoing and always ready to party. If you think I should be your new best friend, call Helping Paws Animal Shelter.
