Pet of the Week: Betty

Betty is a 7 year old domestic short haired kitty, looking for her fur-ever home!

Hey y'all! My name is Betty. I am a seven year old, domestic shorthair kitty; my coloring is a combination of Tabby and Calico. I have been at Helping Paws for about a month and I was transported from a humane society in southernmost Illinois. If you look at my picture, you will notice one of my ears is smaller than the other; I had an ear infection that caused a hematoma to form, which caused my ear to be a little deformed and small. My ear is all healed and the infection is gone, it just looks a little different! It makes me unique. I am the sweetest little lady you ever did meet. I have been in our front cat room for a couple days so I am still getting used to everything, though I was very curious and mellow right off the bat when the other cats came to greet me. I am a friendly girl and I love to get pets; I roll around with happiness! I would also describe myself as quiet. One of the staff described me as a "compact girl.." whatever that means! If you are looking for a kind and relaxed companion, I am your kitty!! Call HP to make an appointment to meet me.
