Hi everyone, my name is Captain! I am available for adoption at Helping Paws Animal Shelter. I originally came from Kentucky. I am an 11-month-old retriever mix and around 66 pounds. I am neutered, have all my shots, and am microchipped! Some of my favorite things to do are to play with toys in the yard and play with my doggie friends through the fence. At on point in my life I attended training classes. I know “sit” & “heel”. Sometimes i need some reminders because I am young, but I remember quickly. I am an energetic boy. I would love a family that stays active and that would enjoy playing fetch with me. I would appreciate some scratches too. If you would like to come and test out my playing skills, please call Helping Paws Animal Shelter to make an appointment.

Helping Paws always appreciates donations of bath towels, paper towels, XL or larger training pads, nylon dog leashes, puppy toys and 99.9% bleach.
