Pet of the Week: Cupcake
Hey it's me again, Cupcake! I am still looking for my furever home. I am just over three years old, and a miniature pinscher/beagle mix. I am all up to date on shots, spayed, and microchipped. I'm a small girl, weighing around 16.6 lbs. I enjoy doing things like chasing after a flirt pole (basically a large wand toy for dogs), going up and down and jumping on the agility equipment in the yard, and running through tunnels! Not to toot my own horn, but I am very talented and would do great at agility or other types of dog sports. If you're not into doggie sports, I would also be happy living just an active lifestyle. Playing is one of my favorite things, so I hope you like it too. I am quite energetic so a home with active humans would make me happiest. When it comes to other dogs, I prefer my own space and enjoy getting all the attention. I would do best in a home with adults or a family with older children. Oh! I forgot to tell you I am potty trained and treat motivated, so training should be a breeze. I already know "sit", "down", and I love treat-puzzles and toys. I am very smart and learn the puzzles quickly. I also got to go on an 'out of shelter' walk recently! My human friends learned that I LOVE car rides and I do great on them. I fell asleep on their lap on the way back to the shelter. If you think I'd be a good fit for your home, call Helping Paws to meet me!
