Pet of the Week: Eliza Jane

Eliza Jane is a two year old Terrier mix looking for her fur-ever home!

Howdy y'all it's me, Eliza Jane! You can also call me EJ. I am a Terrier mix and almost two years old, weighing under 20lbs. Me and some of my doggy friends were rescued on September 5th by our friends at Animal Rescue Corps, from a hoarding situation among the floods of Louisiana. We were living in a small trailer home with more than 27 other dogs in neglectful conditions... I am so happy to be here! My little doggy companion, Corrine, was recently adopted; I hope it's my turn now! I am a cute little thing, being mostly white with brown patches and speckles throughout my coat. My ears are very similar to antennas, with one up and one folded down. I always have my black eyeliner and lipstick on, too. I do like to stay presentable! I can be a little quiet when first meeting new hoomans but once you know me, you'll see that I have lots of personality. I'm super silly, affectionate, and very sweet. I love a familiar lap and enjoy getting my scratches in! I have done well with all the other dogs I have met and play really well. I am even doing well at going potty outside and I am very easy to handle since I am a small girl. I'm also into playing! Whether it's chewing on my nylabone, my stuffie, or wrestling with my dog friends, I like it all. If you are looking for a forever best friend to adventure with and spice up your life, look no further! Call HP to meet me.
