Pet of the Week: Fern

Fern is 6 year old Feist-terrier mix looking for her fur-ever home!

Hey Ya'll, I'm Fern, a sweet southern belle all the way from Tennessee. I'm a 6 year old Feist-terrier mix. Life hasn't always been easy for me. I came from a hoarding situation where 65 dogs and cats were rescued, life was far from comfortable, we had no running water or electricity. I didn't get the love and attention I longed for and deserved, which has made me a bit shy. But once you get to know me, you'll discover a loyal and loving friend who loves to cuddle. Whether it's snuggling on the couch or curling up in bed, I'm your go-to companion. I have impeccable leash skills and am proud to say I'm potty trained. Exploring the yard is my favorite thing to do, I even get the zoomies especially when my friends Maddox and Linden get to join in on the fun. I'm great with other dogs, and my friendly nature shines through despite my shyness. I'm ready for a fresh start with a loving family who can give me all the love, snuggles, and attention I've longed for. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, I'm your girl. Call Helping Paws Animal Shelter to meet me, and hopefully, together we can create a new, happy chapter in my life!
