Pet of the Week: Hendrix
Hey friends, meet gentle Hendrix! Hendrix is a Medium Breed Mix, weighing about 45 lbs, at a little over three years old. He's a handsome boy, with his redtick coat. He came from a rescue called Animal Rescue Corps, from their mission called "Operation Downpour;" he lived with 39 other dogs on one rundown hoarding property in Arkansas. He is a shy boy, though he's making improvements everyday. He was new to walking on a leash when he first came in, but now he looks forward to his walks, and follows the hoomans out all on his own! Hendrix is a kind soul and he lets the hoomans pet him even though it's new to him. He is really enjoying his time in the outside kennel next to the other doggies, as well as playing in the yard with them! Recently we have been catching him playing with his neighbors, his tail untucked and a smile on his face. Oh and don't forget he has a hilarious goofy side, and loves to run with his butt tucked in like he's running from the boogeyman!! He's secretly a comedian, once you break down his walls. Hendrix is patiently waiting for his hoomans to find him and give him his Second Chance!
