Pet of the Week: Hera

Hera is a 4 month old mixed breed looking for her fur-ever home!

Hi there! I'm Hera, a 4 month old puppy with a story to tell. I came to Helping Paws before I was even born, inside my young mom's belly. A few weeks after arriving, my mom gave birth to 8 puppies, but sadly, one of my siblings did not make it. After being separated from mom, we were left to figure out life with the help of the amazing staff and volunteers. We continued to blossom, and all my siblings and mom have found their furever homes, but I'm still waiting to find mine! I'm the sweetest girl you'll ever meet! I was the smallest of my siblings, but what I lack in size, I make up for in spunk. I absolutely love playing in water, whether it's the pool or just splashing in my water bowl, I'm ALL in! I'm a super happy outgoing girl who loves everyone I meet, whether they have two or four feet! Running in the yard and going for walks are some of my favorite activities. On walks, I get to explore so many new things. I like to taste everything I come across from cicadas to grass to the occasional rock. I'm still working on my potty training, but I'm a smart girl and learn very quickly. I also enjoy the affection of my humans and am always ready to curl up on a lap for a nap. I'm looking for a family to share all kinds of adventures with, from camping and boating to lazy Sundays on the couch watching movies. If you think I sound like the perfect fit, call Helping Paws to make an appointment to see me!
