Pet of the Week: Katy Kitty

Katy Kitty, a five-and-a-half-year-old, domestic shorthair tabby, looking for her fur-ever home!

Hi there, I’m Katy Kitty! Will you be my Valentine? I am a five-and-a-half-year-old, domestic shorthair tabby. As of Valentine’s Day, I’ve been at Helping Paws Animal Shelter for 152 days. I was relinquished to the shelter when my senior owner could no longer care for me. When I first got to the shelter, I was shy and uncomfortable; though now, I am coming out of my shell! Now I enjoy sitting at the cat room door waiting for the humans to bring me my food. I also enjoy getting scratches and belly rubs from my people, as well as chasing after the laser! It's my favorite toy and I am so close to catching it. I still have moments where I like my space, but most of the time I want attention. I coexist well with the other kitties in the cat room, especially when I have my own bubble of space. I am a sweet girl and am excited for my home to find me. I have been here 152 days too long, and can’t wait for you to call HP and meet me!
