Nan is a 2 year old medium mixed breed looking for her fur-ever home!
Hi there, my name is Nan! I am a Medium Breed Mix girl, and a little over two years old. I weigh around 45lbs. My story begins with a rescue in Arkansas at the beginning of February; the owner of the shelter I was at became ill and that is when Animal Rescue Corps stepped in! They took me and 35 other dogs in with open arms. In the middle of February, I arrived at Helping Paws to start my second chance. Let me tell you about myself... I am a bit of a shy girlie. I am still getting used to different sounds, large vehicles driving by, and new people. While I do have more to learn and experience, I have come a long way! Since being at HP I have learned to walk on a harness, have met new people, and am gaining confidence on my walks around vehicles. Every day I walk a little farther down the road and am more relaxed. I am good with cats and I love other dogs. My favorite is when they chase me in the yard! I am a very sweet and kind gal; I couldn't hurt a fly.
