Polly is a 4 1/2-month-old mixed breed looking for her fur-ever home!
Hi, I’m Polly! I may have short legs, but I’ve got big energy and an even bigger heart! I’m a 4.5-month-old mixed breed, and I came to Helping Paws with my three siblings. We were what you humans call an “oopsie litter.” Our family wasn’t planning on puppies, so they brought us to a shelter down south. From there, we were transferred to Helping Paws to find our forever homes and let me tell you, I am so ready to find mine! Let’s get one thing straight: I might be low to the ground, but I am fast. I’m the proud leader of the HP “Low Rider Club,” and I can outrun all my short-legged friends without even breaking a sweat. One of my favorite games? Snatching up a tennis ball and zooming around the yard while everyone tries to catch me. SPOILER: They usually can’t keep up! But my true love? WATER. Splashing in the pool, digging in my water bowl, diving into puddles if it’s wet, I’m in it. A water day is the best day in my book, and I turn every day into one! Once I’m done being a speedy little goofball, I love winding down with snuggles and belly rubs. I have a soft, sweet side that comes out when I’m cozied up with my humans. I also love meeting new people and making new doggie friends big or small, I’m not scared of anyone! I’m small but mighty, and brave as can be. I’m also a bit of an explorer. I’ve been known to leap up onto picnic tables like a pro and strut through the farmers market like I’m the mayor. I’m always up for an adventure especially if it ends with a treat and a cuddle.
