Hi everyone, my name is Poppy! I am currently at Helping Paws Animal Shelter, looking for my fur-ever home. The staff at HP say I am a very happy, sweet, and friendly boy. They also say that I am a 9-month-old Labrador Retriever mix. I was saved from Washington County Animal Control, in southern Illinois. One of my favorite things to do is be in the outside kennel, where I can hangout next to the other dogs. I also love to run and play in the yard! I enjoy all kinds of toys, any toy you give me, I will play with. I am learning sit, wait and am working on my leash manners. Potty training is going really well for me, too! I cannot wait to find my forever family. If you would like to schedule an appointment to visit me, please call Helping Paws Animal Shelter.
