Pet of the Week: Cotter
Hi everyone, I'm Cotter! I’m a 1.5 year old, 47 pound mixed breed. I found my way to Helping Paws all the way from Tennessee back in February. These wonderful people from Animal Rescue Corps rescued me and many of my friends from a hoarding situation. Before coming to HP life wasn't very kind to me. Human interaction, love and affection is something I rarely saw, this has made me rather shy. Don't let that deter you, because once I get to know you I'm a playful goofball, eager to shower you with hugs and kisses! At the shelter, you'll often find me racing around the yard with my friends Nan and Higgins. It's a blast trying to catch them! I'm also a fetch enthusiast, with chuckit balls being my absolute favorite! They make this fun sound when I squish them in my mouth! Something else I enjoy doing is going on walks, and getting to explore new things! I'm a pro on the leash, I don't even bother those silly looking geese we have all around the shelter. So if you like going on walks, playing ball games, cozy couch snuggles and don't mind a little shyness, I'm your guy! Reach out to Helping Paws and schedule a visit to come see me, who knows, we might be the perfect match!
