Pet of the Week: Ella

Hi friend! My name is Ella. I am currently staying at Helping Paws Animal Shelter, waiting for my forever home to find me! I am a little over two years old, and a Domestic Short Hair female. My coloring is called "Torbie," how fun is that? It is a mixture between tabby and tortie. I was transferred here from a shelter in Southern Illinois, which is about 350 miles away; that five and a half hour drive was a long one! I have since been spayed, microchipped, and am up to date on vaccines. I am a very outgoing girl and I love to meet new people. I always make sure I greet everyone that comes into our cat room! It is a huge plus if I get some scratches and pets, too. I also really enjoy toys; wand toys are my favorite because of how much they move! I do great with the other kitties in the room. I am a bit nosy.. If they are showing interest in something, then I definitely have to be involved! I especially enjoy my kitty friends to be playful, so we can run around together and wrestle. I give space to the kitties who are shy or reserved; not to brag but I have great social skills. I also do well around doggies. If you think I would be a great addition to your home, call Helping Paws to meet me!
