Pet of the Week: Jojo
Hey y'all! You can call me Jojo. I am a one year old Aussie mix. I arrived at Helping Paws at the end of May, from a shelter in Southern Illinois. My owner could not keep me due to having too many pets. I currently weigh about 53lbs! I am a very energetic girl and I would be happiest in a home that stays active. The staff here like to give me things that help my brain stay busy; slow feeders at feeding time, stuffed frozen kongs, and treat puzzles. I love going to the yard!! My favorite part is the doggy pool. I really enjoy picking up my toys out of the water and chomping at the water. It helps me stay cool. I hope my future home likes water, too! I also like playing fetch; I'm super fast. I'm a smart girl and I know "sit" and "paw!" I am doing great at going potty outside and I am still working on my leash walking skills, though I do calm down after walking for a couple minutes. If you are looking for a girl who is always ready for new adventures, look no further! I'm your dog!! Call HP to meet me.
