Pet of the Week: Lailani
Hi there! I’m Lailani, an energetic 3 month old puppy. I came to Helping Paws all the way from Kentucky with my mom and 6 siblings. Shortly after arriving the staff noticed my littermates and I were very sick, but thanks to the amazing medical team and staff, we have a clean bill of health and I’m ready to find my furever home! I have a silky, sleek black coat, beautiful brown eyes and the sweetest brown eyebrows (some people pay for eyebrows like mine, but mine are ALL REAL!) I’m incredibly friendly and love meeting new doggie and human friends! I’m a very playful girl who loves running around the yard with my pals here at the shelter. I’m the fastest one, so I love when they chase me! I’m always up for a good game of tug-o-war, whether it’s with a good ol rope toy or even my walking leash, I think it’s safe to say, I’m the reigning champ! My absolute favorite pass time here at the shelter is the shelter pool! I have the best time just splashing around, trying to eat the water. I do need some leash manners as I like to chew on the leash or even try to “walk” myself, some of the staff find it super silly. I’m also working on my potty training skills, but I’m a smart girl and will catch on very fast! I would thrive in a household with other dogs or kids, since I’m an active girl, but I would also be happy as the only pet where I get all the love, attention and snuggles! If you’re interested in meeting an active, loving, sweet girl look no further! Call Helping Paws to make an appointment to see me, Lailani!
