Pet of the Week: Josie
Hello friends! My name is Josie. I am an almost six months old Fox Wire Terrier mix! On September 28th I weighed about 22 pounds. My story starts in Hazard, Kentucky, where my sister and I found ourselves at a shelter. We then traveled nine hours to get here to Helping Paws; since then my sister has found her forever home, but I am still waiting! It has been 44 days since I got here. The staff love to report that I am a "happy and energetic girl!" I enjoy being around others that are energetic too; when there is extra time, I get to play with my doggy friend, Elwood! We like to tumble around in the yard. I am doing well with my leash manners and I am starting to get the hang of going potty outside. While I do love to play, I also enjoy getting lots of cuddles! I know "sit," too and am treat motivated. If you would like to meet me and my silly self, call HP today!
