Pet of the Week: Alma
Hello there! The 'hoomans' call me Alma. My paperwork says I’m a Miniature Poodle mix, and I am about nine years old; I am indeed considered a grandma, or a senior aged doggie. Even though I am a senior, I do have some spunk left! I love going on walks and sometimes I enjoy a little playtime. On September 9th I weighed in at about 15 pounds, and the medical staff said I was already spayed in my previous life. The HP 'hoomans' also gave me a bath, a great teeth cleaning, and removed some non-cancerous lumps that I had. I have been at Helping Paws for 25 days and I am hoping that I am not here much longer! While I do enjoy getting all the attention here, I can't wait to have my own home with comfy beds and cuddle time whenever I want it. I am quite good at going potty outside! The staff say that I am a very sweet little old lady, and when I get excited I exclaim my joy and spin in circles. I am also easy to walk due to my compact size. I am good with kitties and seem to be good with the other doggies; sometimes I bark from a distance though am good when I can meet them. If you would like to meet and possibly be my new forever, call HP today!
