Pet of the Week: Tabitha
Tabitha is a 1 year old domestic shorthaired kitty, looking for her fur-ever home!
Hi friend, my name is Tabitha! I am a Domestic Short Hair, and just under one year old. I am a beautiful and unique girl; I'm kind of a mix between a grey tabby and a grey diluted tortie. While I am mostly light grey, I have dark grey stripes throughout my coat, and patches of tan! In the middle of August I was rescued by Animal Rescue Corps, in West Tennessee when law enforcement seized 50 felines from three adults, in a hoarding situation. The 'home' was a house that was mostly demolished on the inside, bug infested, and led us to be extremely neglected. Luckily, on September 15th I arrived at Helping Paws and started my Second Chance! I am the sweetest kitty around and I have a lot of love to give. I don't have a mean bone in my body! I can be a little timid at first, but who wouldn't be after my previous life? If you approach me and let me smell you, then it's go time for lovings and pets. I will rub against you and get as many scratches as I can, while purring away. I am getting more confident everyday and am starting to approach the hoomans myself! Look at me go! I don't quite understand playing yet but I am sure I will learn with time. I have been exploring the kitty room and I am doing great with the other kitties. If you would like to meet my pretty self, call HP to make an appointment! I would love my own home to show me the TLC I most definitely deserve.
