Pet of the Week: Buckley
Hey there pal, it’s me, Buckley! I am a six month old Medium Breed Mix, and weigh just under 30lbs. I came to Helping Paws from a kill shelter all the way in Kentucky. I have been at HP for over 60 days, though I was in a home for a short while. After six days I was unfortunately returned… I was just being a puppy. Now I am looking for my forever home to find me. I am a friendly and happy boy that loves to play! I will play with any toys; stuffed toys, hard chewy toys, rope toys, my blankie… Oopsie, I forgot that’s not a toy! Besides toys, one of my favorite things to do is to play with my doggie friends. Especially my bestie Stevie! We have so much fun wrestling and sharing toys in the yard. I have heard the hoomans here talking about how handsome I am; how much they love my white and tan fur, and how cute my long snout is. What does “handsome” mean, anyway? They also really appreciate how gentle I am. I have made sure to practice taking food very gently from hooman hands and I have become a pro. Leash manners are something else I am working on; I do pull a tiny bit when excited but am overall easy to handle! I am looking for a home that is active and has lots of toys for me to play with. I promise I am a GOOD boy and have a lot of love to give. Will you give me a second chance? Call Helping Paws to meet me!
